16 year old Team UK star joins Jolt Racing in LMP4

British rising star Thomas Jack Lee has joined Jolt Racing to compete in selected rounds of the 2024 Ligier European Series in the team's Ligier JSP4 supporting the European Le Mans Series.

At only 16 years old, Thomas Jack Lee was announced as being one of a small number of young drivers selected by the UK's motorsport governing body for the 2024 Team UK Futures programme. Operated by Motorsport UK, the Team UK Futures programme identifies, develops and supports talented competitors aged 15-24 who demonstrate exceptional potential to progress through the competitors’ pathway into the Team UK programme and beyond. Team UK is a national squad of elite competitors selected to receive a bespoke one-to-one performance programme as they compete at the sport’s top levels.

Following this recognition and a successful test in the team's Ligier JSP4 in February, Thomas Jack has confirmed that he has joined the team and will be competing in selected rounds of the 2024 Ligier European Series. His debut race will be at Circuit Paul Ricard on 3-4 May.

In his first full motorsport season at 15 years old in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship, Thomas Jack achieved sensational rookie performance with 9 wins, 15 podiums, 4 seconds and 2 thirds out of 17 races. Those results saw him secure the Rookie Champion title and finish a close second in the overall rankings.

The team is thrilled to have reached agreement with Thomas Jack and is confident that he will be able to compete for victory in his debut race in the championship.
